The 5th International Symposium-Workshop on Frugivores and Seed Dispersal (1985-2010) in Montpellier will celebrate 40 years of studies on seed dispersal.

The main thema is Frugivores and Seed Dispersal: Mechanisms and Consequences of a Key Interaction for Biodiversity

Oral presentations will be held in parallel sessions, and accommodations for daily presentation of 300 posters can be made.

The number of oral presentations is limited to 34 plenary papers, 36 oral papers (invited symposia), 42 oral contributions during concurrent sessions, and up to 100 posters (14-15-16 June) to be presented and discussed during breaks.

  • Late/On site registration fee will be valid until we reached the maximal capacity of the Plenary Einstein Hall (318 seats) and/or by 31 May for full fee (with catering).
  • New Academic and Student Pass are valid until we reached the maximal capacity of the Plenary Einstein Hall (318 seats) and/or by 31 May for full fee (with catering).

One-Day and 4-Day Pass do not include catering (lunches), and will only give access to the plenary and poster sessions, and breaks between 14-17 June. Depending on the number of poster boards available, submission of one poster will be allowed for each participant with a 4-Day Pass (deadline for submission : 30 March). No submission of oral presentation will be accepted for participants with 1- or 4-Day Pass. Participants with 1-Day Pass cannot submit a presentation. Abstracts of Plenary, Oral and Poster sessions will be available on line (pdf) and free for printing. Pass were created to allow local students and academics with low budget to listen to international high-profile scientists at FSD2010.
