We would like to bring to your attention the first open call for expertise of EKLIPSE.
EKLIPSE is developing a European Mechanism to answer requests from policy makers and other societal actors on biodiversity related issues. The calls aim at creating working groups that address a targeted, policy-relevant question within a transparent and open framework.
CALL FOR EXPERTISE No.1/2016, EKLIPSE – May 2016
Deadline for applications: 17th of June, 2016
Deadline for results: 16th of December, 2016
NATURE-BASED SOLUTIONS TO PROMOTE CLIMATE RESILIENCE IN URBAN AREAS – developing an impact evaluation framework
For details, we kindly invite you to take a look at the detailed call text attached or to visit:
The working group’s output will be a relevant input into the future development of Nature-based solutions projects in Europe (see call text), so we invite experts from all relevant fields to consider applying for the group. The group will be supported by the EKLIPSE team and additional content-related support as needed.
Getting involved offers to gain further experience at the interface between science, policy and society and support the further development and application of the Nature-based solutions concept. The working group experts will have full authorship of the work and the products that will be published under creative commons 4.0.
The EKLIPSE team cordially invites you to apply for joining the working group (see call details and application form attached). For any questions, please contact [email protected]
Marie Vandewalle on behalf of the facilitating EKLIPSE team
