The Centre d’Écologie Fonctionnelle et Évolutive (CEFE-UMR 5175, Montpellier) is seeking a full-time European Project Manager (EPM) responsible for the implementation and management of a collaborative EU research project: “INternational training at the Science-Policy Interface for Researchers in Europe, for Nature” (Inspire4Nature). The project is a 4 years Innovative Training Network (ITN-ETN) funded by the EU under the Horizon 2020 Marie Sklodowska Curie Actions.
Inspire4Nature brings together a consortium of 3 research centres (CEFE, FVB-IGB, HCMR), 5 universities (Sapienza Univ., Univ. Copenhagen, UCL, ISPA, NKUA, ISA), and 4 international organisations working on the conservation of biodiversity (IUCN, BirdLife International, WCMC, ZSL), representing 8 countries (France, United Kingdom, Italy, Denmark, Greece, Portugal, Germany, Switzerland). Over a period of 4 years, the project involves the recruitment and training of 15 PhD students (Early-Stage Researchers, ESR) working at the interface between science and policy in the field of the conservation of biodiversity at the international scale.
