The group of Dr. David Boukal at the Faculty of Science, University of South Bohemia and Institute of Entomology in Ceske Budejovice (Czech Republic), is currently developing a new project about Culicidae ecology, for an intended start in 2019.
We are seeking for a young researcher below 34 years with good organizational skills and experience with Culicidae ecology and/or taxonomy, with papers on this topic published in IF journals would be appreciated. Applicants interested in both experimental and theoretical work are particularly encouraged to apply. Candidates should be sufficiently fluent in English. Previous experience with aquatic invertebrates, laboratory experiments, use of spreadsheets (e.g. Excel) and statistical analyses (R software) will be appreciated.
