Lecturer in Ecology ● Ref: ATR1322
£31,656 per annum
We are seeking to appoint a mathematically-minded Lecturer in Ecology with a focus on movement ecology and global environmental change. While conducting some independent research you will have the opportunity to collaborate on and support projects exploring the mechanisms and drivers of changing migratory behaviour in birds. The work is based at the UEA and has several project partners, the British Trust for Ornithology, the Estacion Biologica de Donana in Spain and University of Lisbon in Portugal. You will have the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the research agenda of the School of Environmental Sciences and with the expectation of contributing to teaching at the postgraduate level.
You must have a PhD in ecology, environmental sciences or a relevant biological discipline and fulfil all essential elements of the person specification. This full time position is available from 1 September 2016 for 24 months in the first instance, but maybe extended for a further 12 months.
