We are looking for highly motivated candidates for PhD-projects at the laboratory of Fundamental and Applied Research in Chemical Ecology, University of Neuchâtel, Switzerland. The projects are all linked to our general expertise in the chemical ecology of tri-trophic interactions among plants, herbivores, and the natural enemies of herbivores. The ideal candidates should enjoy working in the laboratory as well as in the field, and have good basic knowledge of experimental design and statistical data analysis. In addition to research, the candidates will contribute to the teaching of BSc and MSc students, which involves preparing and carrying out practical courses in Chemical Ecology, Entomology or Invertebrate Biology. We are particularly interested in students that already have some experience with chemical analytical and/or molecular techniques. Good writing skills in English is a must and familiarity with French and/or Spanish is a plus. For more information on the projects, please contact Prof. Ted Turlings ([email protected]).
Applications (brief letter of motivation, CV, and the email addresses of three referees) should be sent electronically as pdf-file before May 1, 2016 to:
